Pass + Ticket Policies

PASSHOLDERS

You must wear your festival pass to receive festival pass benefits. Reserving your tickets in advance is strongly encouraged. Your festival pass is not a ticket and does not guarantee you admittance to films. If you have a ticket, we strongly encourage you to arrive 30 minutes before show time to ensure a seat. Unclaimed seats will be filled by the Last Minute Line 5-10 minutes before show time. Once seating has concluded, your ticket no longer guarantees you a seat. Late seating is not permitted. A festival pass is nontransferable and cannot be shared.

PASSES + TICKET PACKAGES: HOW TO RESERVE TICKETS

If you purchased a pass or ticket package, you are able to reserve tickets in advance when your ticket reservation window opens. You will need your login name (email address provided at purchase) and password in order to access your account and reserve tickets. If you have any trouble logging into your account, please call the Duke University Box Office at (919) 684-4444, Tuesday – Friday, 11:00 am – 6:00 pm. Be sure to test your login information before your ticket reservation window opens.

SINGLE TICKETS

Tickets are first come, first served. There is an 8-ticket purchase limit per film. Online ticket sales end two hours before the screening. Tickets can be purchased online, by phone, and in person at the Duke University Box Office or during the festival in Festival Headquarters (see restrictions under ‘Box Office Hours + Locations’).

REFUNDS

All sales are final. There are no refunds or exchanges on pass, ticket package, or single ticket purchases. Passes cannot be shared. Limit one ticket per passholder per film or event.

SEATING POLICY + LATE ARRIVALS

Seating begins 30-minutes before show time and concludes at show time. Please arrive early! Once seating has concluded, your ticket no longer guarantees you a seat. Late seating is not permitted. Full Frame reserves the right to fill unclaimed seats from the Last Minute Line 5-10 minutes prior to show time. Seat saving is not allowed. Refunds will not be applied to unclaimed/unused tickets.

LAST MINUTE LINE ONLY: WHAT DOES IT MEAN

When all tickets have been distributed for a screening, a film is marked “Last Minute Line Only.” However, there is still a chance to get a seat. Passholders without a ticket to a film may line up in the Last Minute Line 1-hour prior to show time. The venue will fill unclaimed seats from the Last Minute Line 5-10 minutes prior to show time. Seating is first come, first served (space permitting).
